Our large dog ramp for beds was designed for the medium and large dogs, such retrievers, German shepherds, basset hounds, etc. Especially when these dogs enter their senior years, or have arthritis or other health conditions, or perhaps are just short like basset hounds, you want a ramp that is strong, sturdy, and wide enough for these larger dogs. And that's exactly what this is.
However, it's not just for the larger dogs. Many customers with several+ smaller or medium dogs opt for this bed ramp for its wider platform and stronger build when compared to our small bed ramp for dogs.

We have investigated dog ramps before, even ordered one. It was over $100 from a company on Amazon and it was not worth even that. So, we hesitated to spend four times that on another ramp, and from a private website. Our worries were unfounded; the ordering process was easy, the shipping quick, and the product beautiful. Beautiful to look at, beautiful quality and so easy to put up. The only thing we had to do was open the box, unwrap the ramp and put the rails on. Our younger dog, a shiatzu cross, mastered the ramp immediately, after a number of treats. Our older, 9 year old Yorkie was a bit more reluctant, even with copious amounts of treats, but after a week or so, she has learned that it is there to help her and that we are not going to lift her onto the bed and that she isn't to jump off. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. We, the owners, needed to learn a few tricks of our own and NOT to immediately help our older dog to get on the bed, but to be consistent in making her use the ramp. The ramp is sturdy and we were able to adjust it to exactly the right height. The cost is worth it when considering its quality, not to mention the peace of mind that our old dog will stop leaping off the bed, possibly injuring herself and costing us much more in vet bills.
Ramp is sturdy and very well made. My dog learned quickly and I'm very pleased with the product.
The ramp arrived quickly and required minimal setup before we could start training the dogs to go up the ramp. We have one older dog with back problems and a middle-aged dog with hip issues and both had no problem learning to use the ramp. Our bed is their favorite quiet napping spot and now they can get up there when they want to.
Had purchased a dog ramp for the bed for our aging large dog somewhere else. It was not wide enough and very unstable and our dog would not use it. Saw the larger ramp on DoggoRamps and decided to try it. New ramp was very sturdy and wide. Took a few days to get the dog to go all the way to the top. Now goes up and down it with no issues. Great solid construction, heavy enough it does not move. Our dog weighs 70 pounds and now has no issues getting on our bed. Thanks DoggoRamps for making a solid ramp!
This ramp was perfect for our 13 yr old beagle. The bed frame we had gotten made the bed much higher than her stairs would work. We couldn't keep lifting her up because that wasn't good for her or us. We purchased the ramp and it worked like a charm! You can reach an old dog new tricks! It took a few encouraging tries to get her to use it with help from the training instructions and now it's easy and much more safe and comfortable for her. We are super happy for this purchase!
I have a 5 yr. Old Doberman. I've tried training him to use the ramp fo about one month, with the different ways you've described. No having any luck. He avoids the ramp altogether now.

We have a miniature dachshund puppy and she took to the ramp with very little training and now roars up and down with great ease and confidence. She also likes chewing on the ramp but we are working to stop that. I highly recommend the the large ramp for tall beds, it's perfect for little dogs like our Peanut.
Purchased my second one because our doggies loved the first one so much, We have positioned ramps at the feet of two beds and the doggies adore them. They are sturdy and very nice looking. Best of all, they are made in the USA, just like my doggies! Thank you!

In each product box, we include our expert-developed Training Steps Pamphlet which has been proven to be super effective and make a huge difference, especially for dogs that are more timid of new things.
