We all love the Doggo Ramp! It’s an excellent design and very easy to set up. Our 11 year old Dachshund quickly took to going up the ramp. Going down is taking him a little longer, but he’s almost there! It may be quicker to jump off the bed, but now that he’s become accustomed to it he accepts that it’s more comfortable to use the ramp, success! We are very happy with the Doggo Ramp!
I own 10 doggo products and credit them with saving my little ones’ backs. They are sturdy, and the ramps easily fold up, out of the way. It took each of my dogs less than an hour to learn how the ramps. The step blocks were instantaneous. We love them!
We tried several other ramps or contraptions…and the dogs would not adopt. After one day of training they use it without hesitation.
I have a basset hound type of dog, and my bed is about 3ft off the ground. I bought one of the small ramps and it fit perfectly to the bed. It took her a couple of weeks to get comfortable using it, but once she crossed that threshold she has absolutely loved using it. She is visibly much less stressed getting out of bed using the ramp than she was jumping out. No wobbles, very stable. Would highly recommend to anyone considering the purchase!
My 15 year old yorkie loves her new ramp. It was very easy for me to move in place. Wish i had not waited to get it. She has no trouble going up and down it.
I've had the couch ramp for a couple of years and just purchased the bed ramp. It took my dog about 30 seconds to figure out how to go up and two days to use it to come down.
The ramp is very good quality with easy to follow instructions. Having two people to assemble it makes it easier. I ordered the walnut colored ramp to match my bedroom furniture, and it fits in nicely.
This was a no brainer for our docsie mix. We purchased a small bed ramp over a year ago and after a few training sessions he got the hang of it. So the addition of the couch ramp only took one treat and he uses it with no problems.
Great quality product and worth every penny.
The ramp comes (nearly)completely assembled which was so nice. The only thing to do is put the rails on which is super simple and you can put them on either side depending on which direction you put your ramp. It is super sturdy, no shakiness or wabbling what so ever. I'm glad I spent the little extra money rather than getting one of the cheaper copies of this ramp.
First, I would say this ramp is the best quality product I have seen. Having lost two mini dachshunds to back injury, I have been looking for a product like this. Most are just too flimsy or poorly engineered.
The product came well packaged and was ext easy to set up. Our little Cookie took to it quickly and uses it altogether now.
Thank you Doddoramps for building a product that, I am sure, will serve our dogs needs for many years.
We have a 90lb Great Pyrenees who had TLPO surgery over the summer and we'd been on the hunt for a ramp for her so she could get onto our bed. Luckily I stumbled upon a DoggoRamps Ad and knew this was what we needed for her. The market doesn't have many offerings for big dogs and to find something that is quality too. This ramp has both of those factors. It's been so helpful in preserving her joints especially post surgery. I had a couple questions after the package was delivered and they responded very nicely and quickly - so great customer service too! She got the hang of it quickly, first getting up the ramp, coming down took a bit of training but they include really helpful tips on training your dog. Overall, I'm stoked with our purchase and feel so much better we're keeping her access to her favorite place (our bed) and not causing any stress on her joints in the process! THANK YOU!
Prince Eddie & Jasper luv their new ramp. Eddie took a few days of treats to choose it over jumping & Jasper Disney need encouragement at all. When Eddie comes to the couch, I just tap the top of the ramp and he comes around to launch himself up it.
Large dog ramp is sturdy, well-made, and blends in with bedroom furniture. My 15 year old 50 lb mix has mobility issues and needed a safe way to get on and off bed. One of the reasons I went with Doggo Ramps is the safety rails for added reassurance. She began using it quickly although I appreciated the included training information. Arrived in 2 days, ready to go. Thank you for a great product.
We have an 11 year old doxie and this ramp is exactly what we needed. Our old ramp was too steep and other options were not tall enough. This one is the perfect height and length and feels very solid and well made!
Best of all, she started using it right away. It has made a huge difference for her comfort and mobility. Highly recommend!
This last purchase is my second ramp. The first was one of the early models. That one is still being used but we had need for a second ramp. This one is the best. It is very sturdy with a nice gray finish. My Doxies use it all the time Thanks, Ryan, for a great design and of course, the fact that it is Crusoe approved, just makes it better!
My iniature dachshunds were reluctant at first but the food-motivated one was going up within 5 minutes. A bit harder to convince him to go back down but he caught on after a few sessions. The other one is not motivated by food or treats so she is taking her time trusting this giant new thing. She will go about halfway up and turn around, but I know she will get there soon. The ramp is sturdy and looks nice, and putting on the railings was easy. I think it's well made.
I have a bed ramp and a couch ramp for my dachshund. I have tried other ramps and they do not hold up, but the Doggo ramps are sturdy and safe. I love the quality of the wood finishing, and the nonslip surface.
We ordered the Step-Ramp for our Mini Dachshund so he could get on and off the sofa safely. He started using it right away! It’s perfect for smaller rooms where you don’t have space for a traditional ramp.
The ramp arrived within 3 days of ordering - and over a weekend no less! Impressive. The product was exactly as described and exceeded my expectations. The instructions for set-up and training were clear and easy to follow. The ramp [and my dogs!] get 5/5 stars - the human [me] gets 0.5 star as I made the mistake of trying to introduce the ramp to the bed too quickly. After all, they had been using stairs to get on/off the bed . . . Foolish human. I took the ramp back to the couch and started the training over at step one. The boys are now "ramp champs." The nighttime "go to bed" routine is restored much to everyone's relief. The ramp is properly anchored to the bed and is rock-solid when the dogs are on it with their combined weight of around 38 pounds [we're working on weight as they are both a bit chunky]. The younger boy hits the ramp running and bounds up/down like he was born to it; the older fellow is more sedate and takes his time but ascends/descends without issues. His "happy place" is burrowed under the covers, and he has been obviously more content since he started "ramping it." The cheaply made stairs have taken their rightful place in the dumpster.
I currently have two dachshunds - an 8-year-old fellow with IVDD [Otto] and a 3-year-old wild boy [Oliver] with no health issues at present. Jumping on/off furniture is not an option. They are content to stay off the couch and chairs in the living room but really got used to sleeping on the bed overnight. Picking dogs up to place on/remove from the bed is not an option as I have back issues myself. Using the steps became simply too much for Otto to handle with the IVDD affecting his upper back. I wish I had started with a ramp much sooner. I have been lucky over the years [almost 50 years now] to have been owned by several dachshunds and Otto is the first with IVDD. No surgery recommended at present; conservative treatment has been effective thus far. It has been a learning curve for sure.
The ramp has been a game-changer in my house and is worth every nickel. The quality is great. The paw-friendly slope surface is easy to wipe clean - beats the fuzzy stuff many put on the stairs for dogs. The boys are confident in using the ramp - it is very stable, and the side/top rails are great. They don't slip or slide. The ramp's appearance fits in well with the furnishings. I would tell anyone considering a weenie dog - or any dog - to add a ramp to the "bringing the new puppy home" supply list. I would recommend DoggoRamps for the quality. My pups aren't celebrities to anyone but me, but I want them to be happy and safe with a reduced risk of injury
Daphne liked her cousins ramp so much when her and mommy were spending time at my house, that I bought one for her for Christmas to use at her own house. It is so easy to put together and the quality of the materials is very good. There were no issues with the shipping. It was packed in a strong cardboard box. Daphne wasted no time going up and down her new ramp. Very good investment for years of protecting Daphne's back.
Ramp is great and only took my dogs a couple of days to learn how to walk on it. Love the quality of wood and ease of assembly. Small amount of damage to one end of ramp upon arrival with no damage to packaging but it still works fine.
We got the couch ramp in preparation for our dog Julee's torn ACL surgery (TPOL). For recovery she is not allowed to jump or run for 12 weeks as the bone and metal plate fuse together. And if she slides or slips the plate could break too. So the non-slip surface on the ramp was a must. The fact that the ramp is furniture quality was also important to us. A wobbly ramp could cause a problem. The ramp has been so nice to have so our sweet girl can get on the couch with us and snuggle like she always has! We definitely recommend this ramp!
My 10 year old husky started showing signs of arthritis in her hind legs, which was worrying for us since she had stairs to get on the bed. I was so happy when I found Doggoramps! The design is sleek and goes well with the rest or our bedroom decor. It was the easiest set up- just take out of the box! She learned to use it in 15 minutes and is now comfortable going up and down. I know you could probably find cheaper versions of this but you can’t beat this quality and customer service. Amazing value and perfect for your pups needs.
My Dad was a jack of all trades.. This dog ramp could have been his creation. No short cuts. This is of a quality to pass on to friends, or to train you next dog on, so when the day comes, he's (or she) got his routine down. The sooner your start 'em, the better. Compared to what I saw on the marketplace, it is a solid, sure bet. I imagine one could go higher end (as in heavier,,and of a certain a style,, say 'dog ramp Louis XIV'), but my Dad wouldn't have wasted that kind of time for cache. It's good, people; that's all. The only problem I have is my dog is a creature of habit, and he is getting senile, so I am having to foster a new habit in an old dog! And still, it is working. Tip: keep the box, I block the long side of the bed when I leave, so he is forced to use the ramp and I don't worry.. One day, in his brain, I hope it's his go-to...I turned around and bought two stair-ramps!
I highly recommend this dog ramp! It is very well made and great for larger dogs as it’s super sturdy! I’m very satisfied with this purchase and so is my dog now that she can get on and off the bed easily!
We have had our ramp for a little over a month and a half and while it is taking time for my "afraid of everything" pup to love the ramp, we keep working at getting her used to going up and down. She will use it when encouraged with a treat which is a lot more than she had done with previous ramps we have tried. Hopefully one day we can get to a point where she doesn't have to think about it and will use the ramp with ease and without being bribed :)
