We recently bought the couch Doggo Ramp because we have had dachshunds with IVDD. One of them was paralyzed for 14 years. Since we just adopted 2 dachshund puppies, they are 2 months old, I want to start right from the get go to teach not to be jumping on and off our couches. The puppies have just arrived a week ago so I am easing them into using the ramp when we are in our family room. We've kept it low to get them used to the surface and they respond well. I'm confident that they adapt to the ramp and this will help in keeping their backs safer. There is nothing I wouldn't do to help keep our doxies safe, healthy and vibrant for their entire lives. IVDD is a real issue for doxies but there are steps we can take, like having Doggo Ramps, to hopefully minimize their risk of this disorder.

This couch ramp replaced our old one that had less angles/depth options and only one side with a rail. The double sided rails are a lifesaver! The traction and angle options are also great for our little short legged dachshund mix.

My dog Raven is 14 years old and blind. Her favorite spot is the couch and she started to have trouble jumping up and she would either fall backwards or just pace back and forth in front of the couch. I bought the couch ramp and within a few days of training her, she got the hang of it! Even though she can’t see, she knows it’s there and is using it all by herself now. When I was training her I would say “use your ramp” over and over. Now all I have to do is say “Go to your ramp” and she goes right to it. What a wonderful product. Easy to train. Non slip, not frightening for the dog. I was afraid constant jumping from the bed in time with age it would damage the joints. So easy, take it out of the box and sit it up. Glad I bought it and will recommend it to friends.

I have one at the bed and one at the couch our dogs love them and it’s perfect walking padding!

I have 3 pugs, two of which are 10+ and have back issues. This helps the girls from having to jump. We have multiple ramps and the pugs use them all of the time.

Our 20 lb dog learned to use the couch ramp quickly and it works with our bed. I like that this ramp can be placed sideways along the edge of the bed to save space. We’re working on getting him to consistently choose the ramp instead of jumping down, but we’re glad to have something to help reduce the chance of him getting injured jumping off the bed.

We have had 2 dachshunds with IVDD in their backs and 3 other doxies. It was difficult to keep them from jumping off the couch. We tried steps built for dogs but they jumped down the steps.
