Small dog ramp

Took my dogs a while to get used to it but now they love it. Excellent purchase.

Perfect ramp for my pups

Both of my cavalier, King Charles are getting up in age. The steps I had up to my bed were even hard on them, so I decided to change to a ramp. After researching a lot of products, I determined that this ramp would be the best quality. We have been very happy with our ramp. It is sturdy and well-made. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Quality Ramp

We needed to get a ramp for our bed for our three dogs. Two have joint issues, and one is just tiny and old. This ramp is better made than any we found on-line. It's sturdy enough that my wife and I could use it if we wanted to :-). The rubber padding is nice too for keeping paws from sliding. If you plan on needing a ramp long term, this is the one to go with. It's also made in the USA.

Definitely the BEST choice of doggy ramps offered

I have 3 dogs, a 13 year old 5 lb Morkie-Poo, 12 year old 17 lb Poodle and a 11 year old 37 lb Wheaten Terrier. They all were all used to sleeping with us in our king bed by jumping from the floor to a chair with a cushion ob it to the top of the bed. However, about 2 months ago, the Mookie-Poo who usually jumped down a few times a night to go use her pee pad and then return to the bed, stopped returning to the bed after her first jump down and sleeping in her bed in the kitchen. Our poodle, developed a severe pain in her lower spine so the vet said one of her disks were pressing into her spine and causing the pain so he prescribed pills and said she is not to jump or climb stairs from now on because if the disk shifts back to normal, then jumping could cause the disk to slip again and this time could cause paralysis. The vet showed me a photo of the ramp he had at the foot of his own bed for his dachshund and highly recommended getting a ramp for the poodle, and he said the morkie-poo would benefit also because her cataracts have gotten to the point that she can't see well enough to jump back up on the chair at night. So we went on the web and started searching for dog ramps. There are a lot of them out there, but so many have a very short ramp so the incline is too steep for what I thought would be safe for these two old ladies. We have a taller bed so we needed the top of the ramp to come close to the top of the mattress. Also, so many of them were made of metal or some other material that looked like they belonged in a hospital. We have wood furniture in our bedroom and the footboard is a medium shade of wood, so we were hoping to find something that would mix with our furniture well AND most importantly be sturdy with a small incline for our higher adjustable bed. Thank goodness we game across Doggo Ramps, it looked PERFECT and so happy it was made in the USA. Yes the price was more but totally worth it because we got it, and I screwed it together in no time (I'm a 64 year old woman) but because we have adjustable beds, I could not slide the safety rope underneath the mattress but there is a metal bar at the end of the bed and I was able to tie the rope there and loop it to the ramp several times and it's very sturdy, I'm not worried about it tipping over at all. Very smart that DoggoRamps thought to add that safety feature. Another feature that is an improvement to other ramps is the lower railing on the side in addition to the higher rail, otherwise I would be worried that my little Morkie-Poo could slide under the railing. Great design for smaller dogs!!! We put a piece of carpet at the top of the ramp over the footboard to the mattress to make it easy for the dogs to make the transition to the mattress. And the bonus is the wood is beautiful, the ramp looks so good with our wood furniture. Both the smaller dogs took to the ramp the first day with about 3 minutes of coaching, and the poodle has recovered with her back pain and the morkie-poo is returning to our bed several times at night. The wheaten terrier can still jump up on the bed without the ramp, although it would be better for him if he took to the ramp, but he's being obstinate just like he's been the ten years we have had him since picking him up off a busy road in Miami when we saw him eating road kill and was covered in ticks, so he has issues, but gives the best hugs. I'm sure he'll use it once he needs it, and we are so HAPPY we have this superior ramp for them all to use. Keep up the great work Ryan!!!!

Great quality and easy to use

Really pleased with the small bed ramp I purchased. I have an aging dog who can no longer get up or down from the bed. This ramp has given him complete independence back.
Ramp is really high quality, from the hardwood frame to the non-slick cushioned ramp padding.
Assembly is trivial, just a couple of bolts holding on the side guardrails. Dog took right to it and was using it from day 1.

Money well spent!!

I searched for a while trying to find the right dog ramp for my Frenchie. I visited different websites, each being different styles, different price points
( most were cheaper ) but I kept coming back to the DoggoRamps website because they looked like they did it best. I am SOOO thankful I decided to choose them because the small bed ramp I bought is absolutely perfect in so many ways. The quality, ease of use, it arrived quickly and they’re there for you every step of the way. My girl had zero issues using it, she took to it the moment I set it up. I recommend DoggoRamps to anyone who wants to make it safer and easier for their dog(s) to get on and off the bed. What a difference it’s made for my pup and me! It was ABSOLUTELY money well spent!!
I haven’t yet but I’m planning on getting the couch step next! :)

Great investment!

I love this ramp! While it is large for my bedroom, the quality is great and my dog, Jasper, loves it! He is often timid, when walking on new things (bridges, stairs, etc.), but had no trouble getting used to the Doggo Ramp! I'm so glad to have this BEFORE he gets old and needs it. This is definitely a ramp one could have for multiple dogs, as it will last forever!

Very sturdy and well built. All solid wood. It took a little time to get my dog to use it, but he has got the hang of it now. Thank you for a quality product.

Dog took to it immediately!

We have a cavalier puppy, we were looking for some sort of stair or ramp to our bed, and a couple other cavalier owners recommended these ramps. The thing I like most is that it doesn't take up a lot of room. Most products we saw stuck out from the bed and we don't really have the room for something like that. Other products also took up lots of storage space and looked a little tacky. This ramp goes along the foot of the bed, doesn't stick out much, folds for storage (although you need to remove the railings for it to store flat), and looks like a nice piece of wood furniture. I was mildly concerned that our cavalier wouldn't understand the ramp or would be afraid to use it, and it does come with a lot of suggestions on how to get dogs comfortable with it, but I just set the thing up, we put a couple treats on the ramp, and he ran right up to our bed. He was a little more hesitant coming down, but again, the treats won him over. It took about 10 minutes probably and now he's running up and down with no issues. This product checked all the boxes for me, and in particular, it's very efficient in use of space, both deployed and stored. And it looks nice! It was a great purchase.

Quality Product

This ramp is well constructed and even better than expected. I selected the Walnut finish at the request of my 2 American Eskimos. They are very particular when it comes to furniture finishing. Quality materials used and the best part is that the actual ramp the dogs walk on is about 71 inches. The online diagram shows the base measurement of 64 inches, but by having the actual ramp this additional length the slope can be about 22 degrees while still adequately reaching the top of my (scratch that) “their” king size bed. That is also a lower setting with plenty of room to increase the slope if needed. I must concur with other reviews that you will be hard pressed to find a better made ramp for your small furry children. A great thing to be able to buy from a Canadian family business. Highly recommend their product.

I'm not sure which ramp to choose?

It first depends on whether you're looking for a couch or bed solution.

If you're looking for a couch solution, see our couch ramp which works for all dogs up to 150lbs.

If you're looking for a bed ramp, then it depends on the size of your dog. If you have a small dog under 40lbs, see our small dog bed ramp. If you have a dog over 40lbs, OR if you have several or more smaller dogs, choose our large bed ramp for the higher weight limit and wider platform.
