This is our third Doggo Ramp purchase. We have a small dog bed ramp and a step ramp and now a small dog couch ramp. Our dachshund is using it easily to get up on the couch. It’s attractive, sturdy and dog friendly. Would highly recommend.
My small dog ramp is very well made and having it made in America is important to me. My miniature dachshund had no problem learning to use the ramp for our bed. I love that the side rails are movable and can be used on both sides. It was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. We’re very happy with it and definitely recommend it.
The ramp work great excise issue. My dog has vision issues. She only has one eye and she has diminished vision in the remaining eye. The issue is with the guard rails extended upper rail. When trying to get on the ramp, she would run into the upper extended rail, poking her good eye. I ended up flipping the guardrail around, so the upper extended rail over lapped the guard rail that is higher on the ramp.
One of the side rails' screw holes are not deep enough for the attachment of the side rail to the main ramp to be tight enough, making it wobble. This was disappointing, especially since I ordered this from Europe and had to pay about €500, instead of the original price...
But otherwise, the ramp works and my dog uses it.
This was very expensive and i refretted the purchase until it arrived, this is well made, thats why it cost this much. I no longer regret it.
This is so sturdy and came basically fully assembled. It has such attention to detail that allows you to tether it to prevent sliding when my dog launches herself at it at full speed. Could not be more pleased. I’ve tried 3 other ramps and this one is definitely going to last me years upon years.
My fur puppies love it, they can now go up and down without having to worry jumping to the couch, great fly, highly recommended.this is my second purchase. The first one is in the bedroom a much bigger & they love it as well, thank you
One of my dogs was scared of ramps but isn’t anymore. He loves these ramps and freely goes up and them. He thinks it’s fun!
My elderly corgi recently started developing hip dysplacia, so we decided to invest into a ramp for the couch.
Set up was super easy and the quality is really good. Nice and sturdy.
He was a little nervous about it the first day or so, but now has no problem going up or down.
We originally bought a cheaper, smaller ramp off Amazon in the hopes that it would work, but our 65lb golden retriever isn’t very adventurous and wouldn’t give it a try. We splurged on this one thinking that the sturdy base, longer run, and railings would make him feel safer. We were right. He used it right away (took 2 treat lures and then he started doing it on his own). He used to wake me up 10 times a night for a “booty boost” even though he’s fully capable of jumping up on his own. Now I get a full nights sleep and he can get up and down without bothering me. Highly recommend, and worth the money.
Amazing quality, as always! I love the new side rails, much sturdier and still very easy to install. My dog loves the independence these ramps give her, and I love that they are super sturdy and have great traction so she is safe using them.
We're on our third Doggo Ramp and could not be happier with the quality and functionality of all three. Two bed and one couch ramps give us total peace of mind as our mini dachshunds run up and down to say hello or go to bed. The color selection and quality of each ramp totally rock. Highly recommend--you can't go wrong with these ramps
Initially I shyed away from purchasing due to price but I'm glad I bit the bullet and got it!! Easy to assemble, quick set up. It fits perfectly at the ft of our king bed. Our mini dachshund started using with a little encouragement. She went up first then after a day or two felt comfortable going down. Now she drifts when she comes flying off the end at a dead run. Our granddog used it too while we had him for a wk. Glad we bought it!!!
Got the large ramp for my 14 year old pitbull and it has really helped her get up and down with greater ease. My 6 year old rescue with short legs really likes it, too! 😊
It is a very nicely built ramp. We followed the training steps since my dog was a little bit reluctant in the beginning but now she's using it most of the time, except when the doorbell rings ;)
Only a small caution, she's using it also as a tiny house so we need to make sure it doesn't fold on her when we move the ramp.
Max is a 7 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi and my second corgi that I’ve owned. My first corgi had to back surgeries 4 years apart for a herniated disc. With my first corgi, I didn’t know the back issues with long-back dogs. With Max I knew we would need a ramp but we held off. Over the years, I researched many many ramps and stairs and Doggo Ramps always comes up … but the cost. Instead I tried two types - one ramp that was similar to doggo but not as long and had same height and a set of stairs made out of memory foam. The shorter ramp worked but would not get high enough for our bed frame. The stairs - forget it, wouldn’t even touch it after one pass. We debated DoggoRamps mainly bc of the cost. However, Max has been showing signs of discomfort in the back legs and the neurologist wants us to monitor. So we bought from Doggo Ramps - the couch ramp and the bed ramp. The couch ramp came first and it took practice but now he uses it like a champ. The bed ramp arrived two weeks later so he at least understood the concept but that took a while. He still tries to jump OVER the railings and so we had to jerry rig a second railing on top the first railing - mainly for the bottom half. And now he just goes up and down all on his own no prompting. You can tell that he misses jumping but I know when he’s feeling a little achy when he just goes up and down. The Doggo Ramps are solid, the ramp part is like a squishy yoga mat with deeper treads and easy to vacuum and clean. The wood is quality made and solid - there is no shakiness, no wobbliness, no feeling of this ramp is just floating out there in the world. We do not move the ramp around bc I believe it would confuse him. He knows exactly where it is. While I know the cost seems like a lot but trust me. It is so worth it. I’m kicking myself that we didn’t buy it the moment we got Max. Thank you Doggo Ramps!!! (I don’t have a picture on my phone but hopefully they’ll allow me to edit this review so I can attach one)
We needed a more convenient alternate way to let our small dog and kitty to have unhindered access to get onto/off the bed at their leisure vice having to lift them both up/down all the time. This "doggoramp" is the best solution that we have found of anything in the market. Assembly was very quick and easy, and both the dog and the cat quickly learned how to ascend/descend the fully adjustable doggoramp that has been placed at the foot of the bed, saving us both time and sleep.
A great product which we highly recommend for pet access to alternate heights easily.
These ramps are so easy to assemble! We brought puppies home 3 days ago. It only took one try and they are using the ramps no problem. I love the grippy stuff too!
We have two now; one for furniture and one for the bed. Sturdy construction. Good traction for tiny pays Love the railing!
I have a 15 lb shihtzu and we have tried dog steps before, she won't even go up the first step. When we got the doggo ramp, she smelled it a little at first, then knew EXACTLY what it was for! She was going up and down it onto the bed like a pro, we never had to train her w treats, she just loves getting up to our level. The floor of the ramp is super nice, she won't slide while she is walking, it is NOT carpet, it holds her feet. Thank you for the quality ramp!
Our Eva is a 5 month old Cavapoo who sleeps with us and we were getting tired of taking her out at night as we have a doggy door and fenced backyard and found this ramp..PERFECT, she was zooming up and down it by the next day…💕
I bought this ramp about 2 years ago. I have a temperpedic adjustable bed. Why is this important? because bed has to be lowered for my 3lb 4oz toy poodle to get out of the bed. I enjoy sitting up in the bed to watch TV. When she has to go to the bathroom she has to wait a few seconds until the bed flattens out. At this point it is at the same height of the ramp. Have no complaints about the ramp it’s a gradual incline, about the length of my queen size bed. This works out because it lines up with the bed. The ramp is well made and perfect for my 16 year old toy poodle. Would recommend for anyone contemplating whether the cost justifies the purchase. Plus it’s easy to collapse if you have to move it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We bought this ramp for our senior French Bulldog, Merlin, after trying several other ramps and stairs that were either too wobbly, too slippery, or didn't give him enough confidence to use them. He would usually ignore them and try to jump off the bed instead.
We had recently purchased a higher bed for our own comfort, which made safe access even more important for him.
Merlin has Cushing's disease, arthritis, muscle loss in his hind legs, and declining vision. Because of his Cushing's, he often gets up multiple times during the night to drink water and use his pee pad, so we needed a solution that would allow him to move around safely and independently without us having to monitor him.
There was a bit of a learning curve at first, as he wanted to enter the ramp halfway down instead of starting at the top, but once he figured it out, his confidence grew quickly. It's actually adorable watching him speed up and trot down the ramp now.
The surface has excellent grip, the ramp feels extremely solid, and best of all it has given him his independence back. He can get on and off the bed safely on his own, even with his mobility and vision challenges.
The ramp also looks beautiful in our bedroom, and we really like the natural wood finish.
The only modification we made was removing the small extension piece at the bottom because of Merlin's vision issues. While he could navigate it, we felt there was a small chance he could accidentally bump or poke an eye while approaching the ramp, so removing it gave us extra peace of mind.
This is the first ramp that truly worked for him, and it has made a huge difference in his quality of life. Highly recommended for senior dogs or dogs with mobility issues.
