Yes. The side rails are removable and reversible, so they can go on either side. You can also use the ramp without rails, or only with some of the rails if you wish.
Yes. The ramp can work well along either side of the bed as well, especially if you have a sleighbed or large footboard that blocks access from the foot of the bed. It all depends on the orientation of your bedroom and what the best ramp placement would be.
While the ramp is quite stable on its own, due to its slim, ergonomic design and parallel placement at the foot of your bed, we recommend installing the anchor rope for extra safety and stability. It can be installed to virtually any bed setup, whether standard under-mattress, tied to a footboard, or even looped around a solid footboard or frame.
Definitely. Remove the side rails first, then the ramp folds flat (no disassembly required) to about 3.5" thick so it can slide under a bed or stand upright in a closet.
That’s what we’ve weight-tested this ramp to. It likely holds more (we intentionally understate the max), but once dogs reach around 50 lbs, they are typically larger-bodied and may do better on our Large Dog Ramp for Beds.
Nope, there are rubber pads/feet on the underside of the base that keep the ramp in place on tile, hardwood, or other floor types.
Yes, provided that the total weight of dogs using the ramp at once does not (dramatically) exceed 50lbs. Otherwise, if you have a large pack of small or medium dogs, many people opt for our Large Bed Ramp purely for the extra width, stability, and weight capacity.
Yes. We’re working on an attachment to address gaps; in the meantime we have simple solutions we can recommend to fill a gap. A gap does not prevent you or your dog from using this ramp.
Yes—use a gentle soap and a soft cloth. It cleans much more easily than carpet.

I purchased this in advance of getting my new Mini Dachshund so that I can train him from day one to use it and not be afraid of the ramp. My little doxie had no trouble learning to use the ramp. I really like that it is ajustable, easy to set up and has the grippy surface to help her feel secure. My only problem is that it came without all the special screws and I live in a small community where finding them isn’t so easy. I’m still waiting to receive the missing screws and am using the ramp without the side guard rails.

I was a little hesitant to purchase due to the price, but my one of my dachshunds has started refusing to use the stairs up to the bed and had started crying in the night to be lifted up. After a few test runs up and down he is using it easily and willingly. Our mattress is very high and this reaches easily, is not too steep, is secure for the dogs to use safely, and makes bedtime snuggles nicer. Thank you for the wonderful ramp!

Our bed is pretty high up, and our small terrier would constantly jump. We were really worried about her joints. I saw a video of this ramp on TikTok and decided to check it out. I have a 12lb min pin mix who has had joint issues her whole life. We just got a very tall bed and I needed a ramp for her. This was the only one I could find that checked all the boxes. More adjustable than any others I saw, a grippy surface that is also easy to keep clean and most importantly rails. The training video is also amazing. My doh figured it out super fast, now we are just working on her consistently using it and I'm sure we will get there.
Everything about this ramp is so well thought out. It is high quality and I think it will last for years and years. If you are even questioning buying it, do it. It's seriously awesome.

The ramp looks nice. The quality of the ramp is nice. I cannot get my dog to use it. I followed instructions. Left it on the floor in my living room for a week. Raised it slightly to couch then eventually to the bed height. Can not get my dog to use it.
