Our large dog ramp for beds was designed for the medium and large dogs, such retrievers, German shepherds, basset hounds, etc. Especially when these dogs enter their senior years, or have arthritis or other health conditions, or perhaps are just short like basset hounds, you want a ramp that is strong, sturdy, and wide enough for these larger dogs. The ramp is very sturdy and surprisingly easy to put together and move. I thought there would be a lot of set up, but it comes mostly assembled already. While it doesn’t move while my dog is on it, I can easily move it to clean.
My 114 dog approves! Cancer hit him quick and this has been a great way to keep him safe while still letting him cuddle with me at night.

I’ve tried those little dog steps in the past but my corgi never took to them, even with training. This ramp, however, was extremely easy to train her to use. It comes with a training guide that I’d highly encourage you to read and follow to ensure your dog becomes comfortable with the ramp. It took me less than 20 minutes to set up the ramp and my dog took to it after only 3-4 days of training. Now I have the peace of mind to know that she’s not putting too much strain on her joints!

We had been using stairs for a while with our now 14 year old lab mix. When he started falling off them we knew we needed another solution to help him get on our bed. This ramp has been amazing, he understood how to use it immediately when we lured him up with a treat. He goes up on his own perfectly with a lot of confidence. Highly recommend!

I have two medium sized dogs and they took very well to the ramp. I have only had it a couple of weeks, so I have ropes around it to tie it to the bed so it doesn't wobble at all, but I really don't think I need them and will take them off in a few weeks once I am sure my doggos are used to everything. The only thing I'd like to change is I wish the rail went all the way down - my dogs are not mobility challenged (we got this to be ready for the future) and they like to jump off the bed part way down. I think the partial rail encourages this behavior and they would be more likely to step off at the top if it weren't so easy to use the 3/4-way point of the ramp as a launching pad.

In each product box, we include our expert-developed Training Steps Pamphlet which has been proven to be super effective and make a huge difference, especially for dogs that are more timid of new things.
