Yes. The side rails are removable and reversible, so they can go on either side. You can also use the ramp without rails, or only with some of the rails if you wish.
Yes. The ramp can work well along either side of the bed as well, especially if you have a sleighbed or large footboard that blocks access from the foot of the bed. It all depends on the orientation of your bedroom and what the best ramp placement would be.
While the ramp is quite stable on its own, due to its slim, ergonomic design and parallel placement at the foot of your bed, we recommend installing the anchor rope for extra safety and stability. It can be installed to virtually any bed setup, whether standard under-mattress, tied to a footboard, or even looped around a solid footboard or frame.
Definitely. Remove the side rails first, then the ramp folds flat (no disassembly required) to about 3.5" thick so it can slide under a bed or stand upright in a closet.
That’s what we’ve weight-tested this ramp to. It likely holds more (we intentionally understate the max), but once dogs reach around 50 lbs, they are typically larger-bodied and may do better on our Large Dog Ramp for Beds.
Nope, there are rubber pads/feet on the underside of the base that keep the ramp in place on tile, hardwood, or other floor types.
Yes, provided that the total weight of dogs using the ramp at once does not (dramatically) exceed 50lbs. Otherwise, if you have a large pack of small or medium dogs, many people opt for our Large Bed Ramp purely for the extra width, stability, and weight capacity.
Yes. We’re working on an attachment to address gaps; in the meantime we have simple solutions we can recommend to fill a gap. A gap does not prevent you or your dog from using this ramp.

When we switched to a new, higher mattress, our small dog really struggled with jumping on and off, and we knew the problem would only get worse (and more dangerous) as she aged. After researching dozens of different dog ramps, we went with Doggo, and we are so pleased. She figured out quickly how to go up the ramp (we are still working on going down, which is a little more intimidating for her). My puppy, Gus is 18 months old and has a limp that is taking a while to get a diagnosis. So, I bought the couch ramp because he likes jumping on and off the couch. Gus started running up and down the ramp right away, without any training. He even sits at the top of it. I have noticed a bit less limping recently so the ramp is giving Gus's legs a break. Unfortunately our cat thinks the ramp is a cat scratcher, so he scratched the mat up the day we received the ramp. No fault of DoggoRamps!

My senior dog had been having difficulty using the puppy stairs we had bought due to declining vision.
The doggo ramp was the best option with this as she could easily walk up the ramp rather than slip or get caught in the fabric that covered the stairs.
The only way to improve on these stairs would be to have an accessory for LED lighting for my senior babies to help them.

I wish these had been around 14 years ago when I got my angel babies. I have four of these around my house and the dogs absolutely love them. This ramp is the bomb.🔥We have used other ramps and rigged up smaller ramps with stairs at the end to help our senior dachshund get up onto a quite high adjustable bed for a handicapped owner. The long Doggo ramp with side rails came fairly quickly but sadly our dachshund passed 2 days before it came. It was very hard to even take it out the box. When we finally did a few days later we decided to set it up anyway for our 11 year old pomchi who refuses to walk up a ramp but rather jump from the bed to a ramp to the floor. What a beautiful sturdy ramp and the side rails force little Thor to walk down the ramp instead of jumping. Timid at first, he wouldn’t use it but as you suggested we used the treat trick. Once he did that a couple times, he was running up and down it like he owned it. He loves using it and no more jumping! Thank you Doggo Ramps for making such a quality Made in a Canada product.

We purchased a ramp for the foot of our bed. Our dog is 14 and she can now sleep at the end of our bed safely. No more jumping off and risking injuring her back or legs. Chances are my little Biewer Terrier won't get too much bigger since she is 6 months old now (?). I wanted to get this ramp to make sure she doesn't incur too much stress on her little body by doing crazy things like jumping off the bed. I tried cheaper couch ramps for her and they were way too steep for a puppy her size. My little biewer LOVES this ramp and is zooming up and down it at lightning speeds!! Her favorite place is to settle on the bed now all on her own. I put toddler bumpers at the edge of the bed to keep her from taking shortcuts jumping into the midway point of the ramp and that works great. Very nice quality furniture that will last my pup her whole life long💜

We ordered the dark wood small dog ramp for our eldery Yorkie when we purchased a new bed which was considerably higher than our old bed. The ramp is beautiful and very sturdy. It matches the dark wood of our bed quite well. The rails on the side help my my Yorkie feel more secure when he is on the ramp. We've had the ramp for about three weeks now, and my dog has gotten used to going down on the ramp, Hopefully, in the near future, he will also feel comfortable going up it as well.
