This ramp is ideal for small dogs up to 50 lbs, especially dogs that shouldn’t be jumping on and off furniture, such as dogs prone to IVDD like dachshunds and Frenchies, as well as other small dogs, or dogs that are senior, have arthritis, joint issues, or recovering from surgery, as well as puppies who need safer bed access while growing. If you have a heavier dog, we recommend our Large Dog Ramp for Beds, which is built for added width, weight, and stability.
The ramp adjusts to seven height positions, covering bed heights from 12″ to 37″, as as long as your mattress height falls within that range, the ramp will work properly. It doesn’t need to match your bed height exactly - being an inch or two off is normal, is unnoticeable for you and dogs, and doesn’t affect safety or ease of use.
Yes. The side rails are removable and reversible, so they can go on either side. You can also use the ramp without rails, or only with some of the rails if you wish.
Yes. The ramp can work well along either side of the bed as well, especially if you have a sleighbed or large footboard that blocks access from the foot of the bed. It all depends on the orientation of your bedroom and what the best ramp placement would be.
While the ramp is quite stable on its own, due to its slim, ergonomic design and parallel placement at the foot of your bed, we recommend installing the anchor rope for extra safety and stability. It can be installed to virtually any bed setup, whether standard under-mattress, tied to a footboard, or even looped around a solid footboard or frame.
Definitely. Remove the side rails first, then the ramp folds flat (no disassembly required) to about 3.5" thick so it can slide under a bed or stand upright in a closet.
Yes! We do also sell extra or replacement side rail kits (including the two side rails and top rail), and even replacmenet board/surface mats, as all our ramps are designed to have the surface replaceable.
Nope, there are rubber pads/feet on the underside of the base that keep the ramp in place on tile, hardwood, or other floor types.
Yes, provided that the total weight of dogs using the ramp at once does not (dramatically) exceed 50lbs. Otherwise, if you have a large pack of small or medium dogs, many people opt for our Large Bed Ramp purely for the extra width, stability, and weight capacity.
Yes, if you have bed frame or platform that is offset from the mattress, you may have a slight gap. We’re working on an attachment to address this but in the meantime we have simple solutions we can recommend to fill a gap. A gap does not prevent you or your dog from using this ramp.
Yes, we recommend using a gentle soap and a soft cloth. It cleans much more easily than carpet. And in fact, the entire board/PAWGRIP surface is designed to be easily replaceable in the future if it ever gets damaged or too worn.

My dogs almost instantly became safer on and off of the bed with these ramps. There was always a concern of the dogs falling down stairs that weren't secured. Also the fear of them falling of the foot of the bed is gone also. These ramps go from one side of the foot of the bed to the other and don't cause any clearance issues when walking by them. Feeling so much better about my little girls getting on and off bed, along with losing the concern of them falling

My French bulldog came down with stage 2IVDD 12 weeks ago, we went with conservative treatment and kept on crate. Rest strictly for eight weeks the last four weeks. She’s been slowly introduced back into the animal kingdom of living with my other dogs, including a one year-old French bulldog puppy. For the last two weeks, she’s been sleeping on my bed with me in her harness tied to a leash that was wrapped around my arm during the night because my bed is 37 inches high and I was scared to death. She would jump off of it. I do have dog ramps, soft sided, but they had to jump down a little bit to get to the top of it and she can’t have any movement like that so I searched and searched for a dog ramp that would go up to the height of my bed, but not be so steep that she wouldn’t use it. The Doggo ramp was our solution and a perfect solution. It has been I only had to give my French bulldogs one tree to go up it and one tree to go down it and now they’re using it like camps. I’m so grateful for this ramp. All the rest of them were shorter, and it would’ve had to have been very steep for them to get up to it. The length of this one made it perfect the dogs have not slipped down it. They’ve gone up and down it with ease. Yep it was more expensive than the rest, but worth the money and the rails on the side prevent them from being the superhero dog they are that would try to fly without a cape.

We have two senior dogs and we needed help. Doggo Ramos has taken so much worry away from our 14 year old pit mix stubbornly trying to jump on the bed. Now she happily goes up her ramp. She is 50 pounds and just small enough for the smaller ramp. We highly recommend Doggo Ramps. We added some weights to the base to really secure it for a larger dog and it helped a lot.

I recently purchased both the couch step and the small ramp for for the bed. Both have been fantastic. My dachshund was just diagnosed with IVDD and is recovering from a flare and these ramps have given me peace of mind knowing the ramps will help protect her back and hopefully prevent future flares.
