Watch this 2-minute video to see Daphne demonstrate how our Small Dog Ramp for Bed works — and why it might be the perfect fit for your dog and home.
Unlike typical carpeted ramps, our PAWGRIP™ surface offers incredible paw traction to dogs of all abilities. That means better grip for less straining, slipping, and sliding - and thus, more confidence.
In the side-by-side comparison, you can see the difference clearly: compared to carpet, PAWGRIP™ gives dogs a surface that is more grippy when climbing, turning, and stopping.
DoggoRamps are made from solid Maple hardwood — not plywood, particle board, or soft pine like the others. That's what makes our ramps feel stronger, sturdier, and more stable, with the kind of finish and presence you’d expect from real furniture.
Hardwood also allows for richer finishing, more refined craftsmanship, and beautiful natural grain, so each ramp looks premium and unique in your home — not like a flimsy pet accessory.
“While many other dog ramps have a utilitarian look, DoggoRamps doesn't compromise on style.”
“The ramp easily fits my bedroom's aesthetic and after nearly a year of use, it looks practically new”
“If you’re willing to invest in a high-quality dog ramp, DoggoRamps is totally worth it”
“Them being able to access their favorite places without risk of injury is indispensable.”
This ramp is ideal for small dogs up to 50 lbs, especially dogs that shouldn’t be jumping on and off furniture, such as dogs prone to IVDD like dachshunds and Frenchies, as well as other small dogs, or dogs that are senior, have arthritis, joint issues, or recovering from surgery, as well as puppies who need safer bed access while growing. If you have a heavier dog, we recommend our Large Dog Ramp for Beds, which is built for added width, weight, and stability.
The ramp adjusts to seven height positions, covering bed heights from 12″ to 37″, as as long as your mattress height falls within that range, the ramp will work properly. It doesn’t need to match your bed height exactly - being an inch or two off is normal, is unnoticeable for you and dogs, and doesn’t affect safety or ease of use.
Yes. The side rails are removable and reversible, so they can go on either side. You can also use the ramp without rails, or only with some of the rails if you wish.
Yes. The ramp can work well along either side of the bed as well, especially if you have a sleighbed or large footboard that blocks access from the foot of the bed. It all depends on the orientation of your bedroom and what the best ramp placement would be.
While the ramp is quite stable on its own, due to its slim, ergonomic design and parallel placement at the foot of your bed, we recommend installing the anchor rope for extra safety and stability. It can be installed to virtually any bed setup, whether standard under-mattress, tied to a footboard, or even looped around a solid footboard or frame.
Definitely. Remove the side rails first, then the ramp folds flat (no disassembly required) to about 3.5" thick so it can slide under a bed or stand upright in a closet.
Yes! We do also sell extra or replacement side rail kits (including the two side rails and top rail), and even replacmenet board/surface mats, as all our ramps are designed to have the surface replaceable.
Nope, there are rubber pads/feet on the underside of the base that keep the ramp in place on tile, hardwood, or other floor types.
Yes, provided that the total weight of dogs using the ramp at once does not (dramatically) exceed 50lbs. Otherwise, if you have a large pack of small or medium dogs, many people opt for our Large Bed Ramp purely for the extra width, stability, and weight capacity.
Yes, if you have bed frame or platform that is offset from the mattress, you may have a slight gap. We’re working on an attachment to address this but in the meantime we have simple solutions we can recommend to fill a gap. A gap does not prevent you or your dog from using this ramp.
Yes, we recommend using a gentle soap and a soft cloth. It cleans much more easily than carpet. And in fact, the entire board/PAWGRIP surface is designed to be easily replaceable in the future if it ever gets damaged or too worn.
Ramps ship from Tennessee for orders within USA, and from Mississauga for orders within Canada. International orders also ship from our Tennessee warehouse.
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee so you can make sure the ramp is the right fit for your dog and your home. If your dog simply needs more time for training, we’re happy to be flexible.
If you do decide to return it, we’ll provide a prepaid return label and can even arrange a FedEx pickup from your front door. A small return fee applies to help offset processing and repacking costs as a small business.
Because our ramps are made from furniture-grade solid Maple hardwood, and 100% made in North America. Hardwood construction and premium finishing cost more than the other softwood/plywood ramps made overseas, but they deliver greater stability, durability, and longevity (plus you support local jobs & manufacturing).
We also don't compromise on features that benefit your dog. For example, this is the longest ramp on the market for a bed (as far as we know), which allows for a lower, easier incline for your dog - while other ramps are shorter to minimize their shipping costs. Not to mention the two-tier side rails & special PAWGRIP surface.
Many of our customers describe how they previously had other cheaper ramps prior to ours, that either broke or wore down. But as those customers now say, a DoggoRamp is a buy-once dog ramp that is a lifetime investment in your dog's safety and independence.
We recently adopted a 5-year old rescue dog. She was afraid on the bed due to the height, and she was also afraid to be alone in the night. This led to some sleepless nights for all of us. Our new baby is also a bit clumsy, so her safety had to be our number one priority.
Enter DoggoRamps. I hesitated for a while because of the price, but decided to give it a try due to the return policy. Our new dog acclimated very quickly to our new ramp, and now our nights are incredibly peaceful. She has the freedom to be on or off the bed, so she doesn’t feel afraid or trapped. She’s no longer afraid of the height of the bed, because she can safely get down. We are all sleeping and enjoying some early morning cuddles.
My husband did add a diagonal bar to the side rail at the bottom, as we were afraid with our dog’s clumsiness, she’d walk right into the end of the rail which was directly at her eye level. He built it from the edge of the rail down to the entry base of the ramp, and it works great and she’s protected.
We are so pleased, that we are planning on purchasing a second ramp for our second bedroom. Thank you for creating such a safe and well-designed product. It is a game changer for our family!
My anxious, senior rescue dog, Sadie, has short legs and is overweight (she came to us that way). Jumping up onto the bed has been getting harder for her, so we purchased a standard ramp online. She wouldn't use it because it was too steep. Now that she has the Doggo ramp, she gets on and off the bed with ease and much more safely! She loves it and so do we!
My little 9 yr old Toy Fox Terrier has a bit of arthritis so getting up on my bed has been a challenge. She would rear up and have to launch herself up the pillow ramp I had before. She doesn’t have to do that anymore. With this dog ramp she easily walks up an onto the bed. I also have a mini dachshund puppy and it is important that she not jump off beds, sofas, etc due to potential injury to her spine. This ramp is so easy for her to use that she is no longer tempted to jump off the bed.
I've had the dog ramp for less than one day , but I can already give it a five star. I actually got it for my nine year old cat who has manx syndrome. He's been up-and-down it several times already, and so at some point, I'll give a follow up review.
Purchased the smaller dog ramp for our 20lb frenchie. Took no time at all for her to sort out how to use the ramp encouraged by a few treats. The ramp is great! Well made and sturdy. We ordered the walnut finish which was not in stock at the time of order however I heard back they were making a new batch of orders and it didn’t take long to arrive at the house. Set up was easy and now finally have the ramp tall enough for our high bed. Thank you
This is the second ramp I have bought for my 3 Doxie kids, first one was a couch ramp.... The ramps are beautifully made, quality materials, excellent instructions! They are super safe with the non slip rubber matting and the side and end rails, gives me peace of mind knowing I am doing everything I can to prolong the life of my doggo's, they love running up and down the ramps! Thank you Ryan for making these beautiful Ramps for our much loved fur kids!! Keep Ballin' Cru!!!🎾
We have two dachshunds - a low key 14yr old gal Stevie & a very energetic 2yr male Rocky.
Our doggoramp was so easy to set up. It is super solid & well designed! Worth the investment for sure!!
Also appreciated the great communication, fast shipping and overall customer service from the company. Thank you!
Small Dog Ramp for Bed
On April 6th, I sent an email reply to one of your previous requests for feedback with the following message and 3 attached pictures:
Hi,
Our new small dog ramp is now working well for my son's dachshund, but I want you to know that when setting it up, I was unhappily surprised to see that it was scratching the finish of the wooden floor!
I turned the ramp on its side and discovered that on one of the four rubber feet, the screw-head was protruding, so it scratched the floor every time we moved the ramp.
I tried to screw it in the rest of the way, but it wouldn't budge. So I took the screw out and discovered it was bent. I was able to straighten the screw a bit and I also drilled the pilot hole a tiny bit deeper (not bigger in diameter), and with that combination, I was able to drive the screw to the proper depth so it no longer scratches the floor. (see attached pictures)
Our dachshund is already accustomed to ramps, but a new bed-topper had added 3 inches to my son's bed height, so his old ramp was no longer sufficient. He immediately took to the new ramp and the non-skid surface is great.
Thanks,
--Stuart Miles-McLean (on behalf of my son, Jake, for whose dog the ramp was purchased)
The small dog ramp is working out very well for my 31 lb dog who recently had CCL surgery. It is super sturdy, very well made and so easy to work with. I also have the couch ramp which has worked out very well too. Made in the USA is icing on the cake😊.
